In an effort to make this photo and video sharing service cool again, Yahoo has decided to revamp the website’s interface and let the terabytes do the talking. Going forward, Flickr users have 1TB of free storage space of full resolution pictures and videos to play with.
Since being acquired by Yahoo back in 2005, one of the first social networks to see the day of light has throughout the years lost some of its cool edge and consequently some of its popularity.
By changing its interface, updating its mobiles apps for iOS and Adroid as well as, of course, upping the ante in terms of storage space Yahoo aims to bring its site back to the forefront of the social media world.
While initial feedback has been rather positive, why wouldn’t it be? Who wouldn’t appreciate having 1TB of free storage space?
How About you? Are you a Flickr user? Would you recommend it?
