What makes this product different from other Listerine mouthwashes is that there is no alcohol in it (hence the name ZERO). This formula apparently has a less intense taste than the regular Listerine Total Care, but it supposed to be as efficient.
As a Listerine Total Care user I can definitely understand why some people would prefer washing their mouth with a product that doesn’t sting as much. I remember the first few times I used it I struggled to hold the liquid in my mouth for more than 10 seconds at a time. But I eventually got used to it.
While I’m not sure if the ZERO version of this product leaves your mouth feeling as fresh as the one I use, it’s supposed to provide the same benefits. So it’s definitely an interesting option if you don’t already have your go-to mouthwash or are contemplating switching. Plus, with a retail price of about $12 for 1 litre, getting a $3 rebate is a great incentive too.
