Get a Free Coffee on Earth Day at Starbucks
In order to do its part on Earth Day, Starbucks Canada has decided to offer free coffee, iced coffee or hot tea to anyone who shows up to one of their Canadian locations with a reusable mug.
This is definitely a good initiative from Starbucks to push the use of personal reusable mugs — an action that should be a habit by now, but that most of us tend to forget. All year round, you won’t necessarily get a free coffee but you’ll save 10 cents on your purchases of hot beverages. I know it doesn’t seem like that much money, but if you add up all the dimes, it won’t be too long before you get the equivalent of a free coffee.
